It grows very slowly and survives the cold and dryness of mountain deserts of Arizona and Utah.
Our Bristlecones are six to eight years old, very cold hardy. Grow them outside in their growing pots or hand made bonsai containers. Allow them to become dry before watering.
It is not known whether they can survive indoors, but it is worth a try. Make sure they are exposed at least once a year to freezing weather (to initiate their growth cycle in the spring) water very sparingly. Keep cool if indoors. Experiment!
Go to our best in tools, containers, and stock.
